No Labeling On Hazwaste Container
Triggers Fine
Hazardous waste containers are a good first step.
But if they're not labeled, people can get hurt and
you can get fined.
New Jersey Shell Casting Corp. (brass and aluminum
casting company), located in Marietta GA was fined $6,680
by the EPA. They had failed to properly store lead-containing
hazardous waste. They also didn't label the container
"hazardous waste" as the Resource Conservation
and Recovery Act (RCRA) mandates.
