This page explains how to use the
STYLE key to assign text formatting attributes to your
label text. It covers the three most often used styles,
bold, italic and underline.
There are three types of text attributes:
character, line and page. These attributes, as well
as their defaults and options, are listed in the following
table:

* Attributes marked with an asterisk
are toggles. Those marked with a plus "+"
are line attributes. They affect the entire line of
text the cursor is positioned on. Those marked with
a carot, ^ are page attributes. They affect the entire
page (label). All other attributes (except FRAME) are
character attributes only and affect the text from the
point where the cursor is positioned.
The following style settings are
available on the K5100: Rotate, Bold, Italic, Underline,
Justify, Mirror, Frame and Vertical.
To select multiple styles, with fewer
keystrokes, use the SPACE key and the cursor keys to
turn styles on and off.
Note: When the STYLE menu is
selected, all selections are not visible on the LCD
display--you will have to use the left/right cursor
keys to scroll through the available options.
The following images show labels printed
with three different styles. The top label has no formatting.
The second label is bold. The third label is in italic.
And the text in the fourth label is underlined.
