Other character styles include Mirror,
Frame, Justify, Vertical and Rotate.
Mirror Text

To reverse the text on a label using
MIRROR, press the STYLE key. Use the left/right cursor
keys to move the cursor to the left of MIRROR and then
press ENTER. When turned on, an asterisk will appear.
To turn MIRROR off, press ENTER again or to exit press
the DEL key.
When using mirror image, use clear
tape for best results.

Putting Boxes (Frames) Around Text
To draw a box around the text on the
label using FRAME, press the STYLE key. Use the left/right
cursor keys to move the cursor to the left of FRAME
and press ENTER. When framing is turned on, an asterisk
will appear next to the word "frame". The
printer displays the frame menu and waits for you to
select the type of frame you want.
To turn FRAME off, press ENTER again
or exit by pressing DEL.

Once FRAME is selected (marked by
an asterisk above), the FRAME Menu will appear (see
below). To frame all the text on the label, select PAGE
by pressing the ENTER key when the cusor is next to
the word "Page"..

To frame just a line of text: before
going into the menus move the cursor to the line of
text and select the line by pushing the ENTER key. Then
go to the STYLE Menu, select "Frame" and select
"Line". When line framing is turned on an
asterisk will appear next to the word "Line".
In the example labels below the top
label has a frame around all the text on the label (page
frame). The lower label also has all of the text framed,
with a second frame around the top line. You may put
a frame within a frame as shown here.

Justify Text
To justify the text on the label using
JUSTIFY, press the STYLE key. Use the left/right cursor
keys to move the cursor to the left of JUSTIFY and press
ENTER. When turned on, an asterisk will appear. The
printer displays the frame menu and waits for you to
select the type of frame you want. To exit the JUSTIFY
menu, press ENTER or the DEL key.
Note: The default justification is
left.
Vertical Printing

To print the text of your label vertically
instead of horizontally using VERTICAL: push the STYLE
key. Use the left/right cursor keys to move the cursor
to the left of VERTICAL and press ENTER. When turned
on, an asterisk will appear. To turn VERTICAL off press
ENTER again or to exit push the DEL key.
Rotate Text
To rotate the text on a label using
ROTATE: push the STYLE key. Use the left/right cursor
keys to move the cursor to the left of ROTATE and press
ENTER. When turned on, an asterisk will appear. To turn
ROTATE off press ENTER again or to exit push the DEL
key.

Auto Rotation
When a self-laminating wire wrap cartridge
is installed, the K5100 will automatically rotate and
auto size the text using the following instructions:
You'll need to start with a NEW file
(label). To create a NEW file push the FILE key. Select
NEW with the ENTER key. A shortcut that can be used
to accomplish the same thing is to hold down the SHIFT
key and push the FILE key. This will activate the auto
rotation feature.
