The 9600Ki LCD display can show three rows of 19
characters. However, the text that you create can
be up to 1000 characters long. You can review and
edit
your
text using the four arrow keys to move the cursor
so that different parts of the text are shown in the
display.
The arrow keys can also be used to select various
functions and settings.
To move the cursor one character to the left, push
the left arrow once. The right arrow works the same
way, moving the cursor to the right.
Moving Several Characters
Hold down the arrow key until the cursor moves to
the desired position.
Moving
to the Beginning of the Current Line
Hold down the Code key and push the left arrow.
Moving to the End of the Current Line
Hold down the Code key and push the right arrow key.
Moving to the Beginning of the Current Block of
Text
Hold down the shift key and push the left arrow key.
If the cursor is already at the beginning of a text
block when these keys are pressed, the cursor will
move to the beginning of the previous block.
Moving to the Beginning of the Next Text Block
Hold down the shift key and push the right arrow
key.
UP/Down Arrow Keys
Press the Up Arrow to move the cursor to the previous
line.
Push the down arrow to move the cursor to the following
line.
Moving to the Beginning of the Entire Text
Hold down the Code key and push the up arrow key.
Moving to the End of the Entire Text
Hold down the Code key and push the down arrow key.
