Table of Contents - Backspace, Delete, Line Out & Clear - Formatting
The BACKSPACE (BS) key allows you to remove characters to the left of the cursor's current position.
Pushing the DELETE removes the character directly above the cursor.
The LINE OUT function is used to remove an entire line of text.
Position the cursor anywhere within the line you wish to delete. Hold down the CODE key and press the LINE OUT (Delete) key.
The CLEAR function is used to clear the display of existing text before creating a new label.
The CLEAR function will either erase all text and formatting, or just the text. To use the CLEAR function hold down the CODE key and push the CLEAR (BS) key. You'll see the following display.

If you do not wish to CLEAR the label text, push the CANCEL key.
To clear the text and all formatting, leave the check mark next to "TEXT & FORMAT" and push the RETURN key.
To clear just the text, and leave the label formatting, use the down cursor to move the check mark to "TEXT ONLY" and then push the RETURN key.
