Table of Contents - Arrow Keys - Code, Return, Cancel - Entering Text
Code Key
The Code key provides access to the functions printed in color above or on a key.
In the example to the right holding down the Code key and pushing the letter "R" will type an underscore (underline) character. The underline is printed on the "R" key in yellow.
Holding down the Code key and pushing the number "4" will activate the Repeat function.
Return Key
The return key is marked with the legend "New Block".
The return key can be used to select an item from a list, for example when adding a symbol or accented character to the text. It can also be used to apply a selected setting.
Some prompts asking you to perform a command may appear on the LCD display, especially when the function that you have chosen will delete or affect files. In these cases, pressing the return key is the same as answering "yes" to the prompt.
Cancel Key
The Cancel key can be used to quit most functions and return to the previous display without changing the text.
Some prompts asking you to confirm a command may appear on the LCD display, especially when the function you have chosen will delete or affect files. In these cases, pushing the Cancel key is like answering "no" at the prompt.
