Font Function (FONT)
With the FONT function you can change the font of
the text using any of the ten fonts included in the
9600Ki. The table below shows those ten fonts:

Fonts may be changed globally,
for a block, or for
individual lines.
To change the font:
Place
the cursor in the block or line of text to be formatted
(this is not required for global formatting).
Hold
down the CODE key and press either the GLOBAL, BLOCK
or LINE keys.
| NOTE |
|
This
step may be skipped if the settings for several
format functions are being applied at the same
time.
|
Press
the left/right cursor keys until FONT is displayed.
The setting for the text at the cursor's current position
is shown in the smaller print at the bottom center
of the display and a sample can be seen on the right
side.

Select
the desired font using the up/down cursor keys. When
you are finished selecting characteristics and settings,
push the RETURN key to apply the font setting.
To return to the text without making any changes,
push the CANCEL key.
| NOTE |
|
If
"*****" appears as a setting, the
Font function has already been applied to part
of the current text. For example:
A line in the current block
has a FONT set, and the Block or Global format
function is being set.
OR
A block has a FONT set, and
the Global Format function is being set.
Changing the setting will
cancel the setting that was previously applied.
To
return the function to its default setting (HELSINKI),
press the space bar.
|
| NOTE |
|
To
apply several format settings, continue to use
the left/right and up/down cursor keys to make
selections until you have selected all of the
desired settings.
Only after all settings have
been selected should the RETURN key be pushed
to apply those settings.
