Installing the Editor 3.2 Software
The Editor 3.2 software includes a variety of more
complex functions for printing barcodes and images.
It enables you to design just about any label that you
can image.
| NOTE |

IMPORTANT
- DO NOT CONNECT THE 9600Ki to your computer!
Do not connect the 9600Ki to the computer before
installing the software. Otherwise, it might not
be installed correctly. Be sure to connect the
9600Ki only when you are instructed to do so.

Insert
the CD-ROM into the computer's CD-ROM drive. A dialog
box automatically appears, allowing you to select what
to install.

If
the dialog box does not automatically appear,
double click "My Computer" on the desktop.
For Windows XP, click "My Computer"
on the Start Menu.
Then double-click the CD-ROM
drive containing the CD-ROM. Next, double-click
on "Setup.exe" to display the dialog
box.

Click
the upper button (P-Touch Editor). The Install Shield
Wizard for installing the Editor software starts up,
and then the Welcome dialog box appears.

Carefully
read the contents of the Welcome dialog box. Click on
the Next button to continue. The User Information dialog
box appears.

Type
the necessary information into the appropriate boxes.
If the information has already been registered in Windows,
it will automatically appear. Then click on the Next
button. A dialog box appears, asking for confirmation
of the information you just entered.

Click
the Yes button to register the entered information.
To change the registration information, click the No
button, and then return to step 4.
The Setup Type dialog box appears.

Select
the installation method, and then click on the Next
button.
Typical Installation:
All of the basic options, Editor 3.2, Clip Art, Auto
Format templates, Help and fonts are installed.
Compact Installation:
Only the Editor 3.2 is installed.
Custom Installation:
Allows you to select the components you wish to install.
