Installing the Editor 3.2 Software - Custom Installation
Selecting "Custom", then clicking the Next button displays a dialog box that allows you to select which options to install. Only the options with a check mark beside them will be installed. In addition to the basic options listed for a Typical installation, the User's Guide can also be installed.
1 ) Select the options you wish to install:
Editor: Editor 3.2 software.
Clip Art: Illustrations for the Editor 3.2 Clip Art function.
Fonts: Text fonts
Auto Format Templates: Templates for the Auto Format function.
Help: Help files for Editor 3.2
User's Guide: HTML User's Guide for Editor 3.2. (The User's Guide can also be viewed from the CD-ROM).
Transfer Manager: There are two applications in Transfer Manager.
1) Transfer Manager allows you to transfer templates, a database linked to a template, or image data to the 9600Ki from a computer.
2) Backup Manager allows you to back up data on a PC and transfer it back to the 9600Ki.
If the Change button can be clicked while an option is selected, sub-components can be selected. Click the Change button to display the Select Sub-components dialog box, and then select the sub-components you wish to install by putting a check mark beside them.
If certain options or sub-components are not installed, some Editor functions may not be available. After selecting the desired sub-components, click the Continue button.
2 ) After Editor is installed, a dialog box appears, allowing you to select whether or not to install the printer driver.
To install the printer driver, click the Yes button.
If the printer driver is already installed, click the No button.

3 ) When the installation of Editor is complete, a dialog box appears. This dialog box gives you the option of upgrading Editor 3.2 to be compatible with Access 2000.
If you have Access 2000 installed on your computer, click on the Yes button to upgrade Editor for Access 2000. If you have an earlier version of Access on your computer, click on the No button.

Click on the Finish button to restart the computer, and then remove the CD-ROM from the CD-ROM drive. |
If a dialog box appears, indicating that the installation is finished and explaining that the computer should
be restarted, select the option for restarting the computer.
