The STYLE2 Function is used to apply
the following text styles:
Either of these styles can be combined with each
of the text styles available with the Style1 Function.
The style indicators at the top of the display show
the style(s) already set for the text at the location
of the cursor, when any setting other than NORMAL
is selected.

The STYLE2 settings may be changed globally,
for a block, or for
individual lines.
To change the STYLE2 setting:
Place
the cursor in the block or line of text to be formatted
(this is not required for global formatting).
Hold
down the CODE key and press either the GLOBAL, BLOCK
or LINE keys.
| NOTE |
|
This
step may be skipped if the settings for several
format functions are being applied at the same
time.
|
Press
the left/right cursor keys until STYLE2 is displayed.
A sample of the style can be seen on the right side
of the display.
Use
the up/down cursor keys to select either NORMAL, ITALIC
or VERTICAL. When you the setting you want is selected,
push the RETURN key to apply the style setting.
To return to the text without making any changes,
push the CANCEL key.
| NOTE |
|
If
"*****" appears as a setting, the
STYLE2 function has already been applied to
part of the current text. For example:
A line in the current block
has a STYLE2 set, if the Block or Global format
function is being set.
OR
A block has a STYLE2 set,
if the Global Format function is being set.
Changing the setting will
cancel the setting that was previously applied.
To
return the function to its default setting (NORMAL),
press the space bar.
|
| NOTE |
|
To
apply several format settings, continue to use
the left/right and up/down cursor keys to make
selections until you have selected all of the
desired settings.
Only after all settings have
been selected should the RETURN key be pushed
to apply those settings.
