TAPE LENGTH ADJUST Setting

Adjustment
When printing a label with a specified length (Tape
Length Function), the length of the printed label
may be slightly different. This function allows you
to adjust the length of the printed label.

 If
the tape length cannot be adjusted satisfactorily
using this function, small adjustments can be
made to the tape length using the Tape Length
Function.

To Change The TAPE LENGTH ADJUST Setting
 Hold
down the CODE key and press the letter "A"
key.

This
step may be skipped if settings for several Setup
Functions are being applied at the same time.

 Press
a left / right cursor key until TAPE LENGTH ADJUST is
displayed as shown below.
 Press
an up / down cursor key until the desired setting is
displayed. To decrease the label length, select a lower
value. To increase the label length, select a higher
value. To return the TAPE LENGTH ADJUST setting to its
default setting (0), push the space bar.
 Press
the RETURN key to apply the setting.

To
apply several Setup settings at the same time,
continue pressing the left / right cursor key
to select a function. Then press the up / down
cursor key to select the desired setting. Press
the RETURN key only after all the functions you
wish to change have been set.
