These are our own valve tags, designed to our specifications
to make easy-to-use, durable valve tags.
Since in most cases labels can not be applied directly
to valves, a valve tag provides a plastic base on
which a self-adhesive valve label can be applied. The plastic tag
is then attached to the valve using a plastic or metal tie.
Graphic Products' valve tags are available in seven
colors and come in two sizes, including:
- 2.25" x 3.75"
- 3.375" x 4.75"
Graphic Products' valve tags may be used with most label printers, however
we recommend the DuraLabel PRO 300 for making valve tags
and pipe markers.
Graphic Products' valve tags are available in the
following colors:
In addition to labeling valves, valve tags have many other uses for labeling equipment and devices that are too small, or do not have a flat surface on which a conventional label can be used. For example, valve tags are used to label tubing, instruments and transmitters.
Valve tags also provide additional space for labeling, as both sides of the valve tag may be used. For example, one side of the tag may have identification information. The other side could have an RTK label. Or the second side might have a bar code or operating information.
Safety Alert: Never attach a valve tag in a location in which it may interfere with the operation of the valve. For example, never attach a valve tag to the hand wheel used to operate the valve.
We also stock valve tags and sign blanks made by other manufacturers,
providing tags in different sizes, thicknesses and
colors.
