Lockout by Multiple Workers at Each Lockout Point
Hasps attach directly to the energy disconnect switch. They keep equipment inoperative (de-energized) while inspections, repairs or adjustments are made. Each worker applies their own lock to the hasp. The equipment can not be energized until the last worker's padlock is removed from the hasp.
Multiple styles of hasps are available to fit most lockout needs. Styles include spark resistand aluminum, pry proof steel, dielectric plastic and dual jaw aluminum.
Number 427 is a Labeled Snap On Hasp. It combines multiple-person lockout and tagout identification. It comes with a highly visible, re-usable, write-on safety label that can be used, and then erased and re-used for the next job.
