A new online calculator from Graphic Products takes basic information about piping systems and shows you how many labels that piping system requires to comply with ANSI code. Multiple piping systems can be entered into the calculator.

The Pipe Labeling Calculator starts by identifying the pipe contents. This sets the label and printing colors. You then can enter the parameters that describe the piping system such as the length of the piping, the number of bends, the number of wall penetrations and the number of valves. The calculator will then determine the required label size and the total number of labels needed.

Multiple piping systems can be entered into the calculator. The results will be displayed in table on-screen. The results can also be emailed, giving you a hard copy showing the number of required pipe marker labels and the supplies needed to make those labels.
