New DuraCut II Vinyl Cutter & Plotter From Graphic Products

Beaverton, OR – February 26. 2008 - Graphic Products, a leading supplier of label and sign printing equipment and supplies, is pleased to announce they have started shipping the DuraCut II Vinyl Cutter and Plotter.

The DuraCut II combines both vinyl cutting and plotting in a single machine.  Using rolls of vinyl up to 24 inches wide, the DuraCut II can cut eye-catching graphics and text with up to a 23.6 ips cutting speed.  Switch the knife holder for a felt tip pen, and the DuraCut II is ready to start plotting and drawing.

The DuraCut II uses both 15 inch and 24 inch rolls of vinyl.  The vinyl rolls are available in 30 standard colors, all of which are a heavy-duty 3.0 mil thickness.
Signs are designed using your PC and then “printed” on the DuraCut II.  Two software packages are included with the DuraCut II.  The JoyCut Software provides easy-to-learn entry level software packed with powerful features.  The SignPal Apprentice Software provides advanced features and high-end capabilities.  Both create large format, continuously cut text and graphics of uncompromising quality.
The DuraCut II features tri-port connectivity, which means the DuraCut II provides flexibility in how it is connected to your PC.  It can be connected using either a parallel port, USB connection or a serial port.

Packed with features, the DuraCut II makes vinyl cutting easy for the novice.  Its guaranteed three meter tracking resolves alignment and media drifting problems before they occur.  The grooved cut-off tool reduces vinyl waste by making it easy to cut-off the finished project in a straight line.  The ten-key, six-LED control panel keeps the user informed and makes the DuraCut II easy to operate.
