New Pipe Grabber Pipe Marking Sleeves

Beaverton, Oregon – December 12, 2006 – The new, Pipe Grabber Pipe Marking Sleeves make applying durable pipe markers to dirty, rusty or unlagged insulated piping fast and easy.

Graphic Products announced today that they have started shipping their new Pipe Grabber™ Pipe Marking Sleeves.  These are clear plastic sleeves that fit around pipes.  They provide a clean surface allowing labels to be applied to pipes that are covered by insulation or are too dirty, rusty, or otherwise in a condition that does not allow a label to adhere to it.

Pipe Grabber™ Pipe Marking Sleeves are clear plastic tubes that are pre-formed to curl tightly around a pipe.  They can be used in either of two ways.  They can be applied to a pipe and then  a label can be applied to the sleeve.  Or labels can be applied to sleeves in the shop or office. The labeled sleeves are then taken into your facility where they are quickly snapped onto the pipes.  This provides the advantage of not having to carry around a label printer, and the label can be applied under comfortable conditions—resulting in fast, high quality application of labels and fewer mistakes.

Pipe Grabber ™ Pipe Marking Sleeves can be permanently secured to a pipe using plastic ties.  Should a label need to be removed for some reason, just snip the plastic ties and the Pipe Grabber ™ Pipe Marking Sleeve can easily be pulled off the pipe.

1.5 in. x 9 in. -- Fits pipe diameters 1.5 to 2.3 inches
2.0 in. x 12 in. -- Fits pipe diameters 2.0 to 3.0 inches
3.0 in. x 12 in. – Fits pipe diameters 3.0 to 4.0 inches
4.0 in. x 18 in. -- Fits pipe diameters 4.0 to 5.2 inches
