Tips for Creating effective flip charts
1. Organize your materials. Know what important points need to be presented, and what thoughts and ideas you want to get across to your audience. Make sure your flip chart flows in a manner that is orderly and understandable to your audience.
2. Design your flip chart on your computer using the GalaRio Software. Experiment with the layout, graphics and text to achieve the desired results.
3. Use your Poster Printer to print in readable colors. Color will grab the audience's eye and focus their attention to your presentation. To enhance your flip chart use a colored marker or labeler to add accent, but don't overdo it, keep it simple by using only two or three colors.
4. Keep your flip chart pages simple. You don't want to distract your audience with too much information. You want each visual to make a single point. Remember that a flip chart is a visual aid to your presentation.
5. Make letters bold and large. The recommended minimum height is 2 inches tall. Leave plenty of white space on each page of your flip chart. Your flip chart needs to be readable by every member of your audience.
