What do the blinking lights on the printer mean?
The following are the codes used for error messages on the DuraLabel 7000.

4 Beeps Twice | Thermal print head is not firmly closed. Re-open the Thermal Print Head and make sure it is closed tightly. |
| Entering the Cooling Process | |

Thermal Print Head temperature is high. Wait until it cools. The printer will go to standby mode after it has cooled. | |
| Out of ribbon or check ribbon sensor | |
3 Beeps Twice | Possible causes of this error are that the ribbon is not installed or the ribbon is used up. Replace the ribbon with a new roll. | |
| Out of media or check media gap sensor | |
1 Beep Twice | The possible problems are that the printer in unable to detect the label material, or the label material is used up. Make sure the movable sensor mark is at the correct position. If the sensor is still unable to detect label material, go through the Auto Sensing again. If the label material is used up, put a new roll in the printer. | |
| Check Paper Setting | |
1 Beep Twice | Possibly a paper jam caused by material falling into the gap behind the platen roller, or the printer can't find the label gap, or out of black mark paper. Adjust printer according to actual usage. | |
| CF Card Not Found | |

2 Beeps Twice | The CF Card is not formatted. Follow the instructions in Chapters 5-8 of the manual to format the CF card. |
| Memory Full | |
2 Beeps Twice | Delete unnecessary data in the memory or use the CF card. | |
| Rewinder Full | |
2 Beeps Twice | Remove the labels on the rewinder. | |
| Filename Can Not Be Found | |
2 Beeps Twice | Use "~X4" command to print out all files, then check whether the file exists and the names are correct. | |
| Filename Repeated | |
2 Beeps Twice | Change the filename and download it again. |
