is the meaning of the error message: "unkown supply type reload
ribbon"? I already have a ribbon installed in the printer.
Answer:There
is a chip mounted on a small blue arm that is a part of the
ribbon casing. This error message indicates that the chip is
not communicating with the printer. First check to be sure that
the ribbon has been properly installed. Also check to be sure
the blue arm, thatt is attached to the ribbon casing, is completely
inserted into the red memory cell flag holder, which is mounted
on the printer body.
