I am involved with hazardous materials safety and storage as well as general laboratory set-up functions in a large research University. Since I had need for a general labeling solution, I browsed the web and made the mistake of purchasing based on price alone. I purchased the ***** printer and software from ********. My main complaint is lack of satisfactory documentation and support and the poor usability of the included software. When I tried to use the ***** software, I was unable to receive any help from the vendor or the printer OEM. I spoke to Graphic Products and they sent me a copy of their DuraLabel PRO software. It is based on Microsoft Word and is much easier to use. Their printer and supplies are also of a higher quality and their support is exemplary, though the documentation is so good that I didn't need to avail myself of it. I am a happy labeler at last.

In March of 2006, we here at the TxDOT Laboratories in Austin were looking for a way to mark all of our lab chemicals with approved RTK Labels. We looked at several products, but the DuraLabel Label and Sign Printer stood out from all the rest we had been looking at. After a wonderful trial and demo from the Graphic Products sales representative, we were convinced this was the product that would best meet our needs and our budget. We have been very pleased with the service and the "I'm always in touch with you" attitudes of the company. They are always asking if we are in need of anything else and are never "Pushy".
