Reason for fine: The employer allowed untrained staffers to clean up a dangerous chemical without appropriate safety gear.
Note: After 5 gal. of a chemical spilled, the shift supervisor ignored company policy which called for the local fire department to handle the incident and directed an untrained crew to take care of the cleanup.
