The industrial workforce is ever evolving. To meet the safety and visual communication needs of customers like NASA, Toyota, and Exxon Mobile, Graphic Products has created innovative labeling and sign technology.
The latest innovation is DuraSuite – label creation software which allows users to make custom safety and compliance labels. DuraSuite was first introduced in 2011, with new releases issued to customers at no cost. The latest release allows users to create and save their own templates with imported graphics or access a built-in library of more than 1,800 safety symbols. DuraSuite users can also print a wider variety of labels than ever before with Catalyst, a full-color label printer.
DuraSuite uses a searchable database system that saves a user's information such as chemicals and arc flash data. The software includes a chemical database with approximately 1,500 unique chemical classification, using SDS data provided by top chemical suppliers.
DuraSuite is a powerful tool for designing standardized labels in a set format, such as:
- GHS (international) and HazCom 2012 (US) chemical labels for workplace safety;
- ASME/ASME A13.1-compliant pipe markers,
- Ammonia refrigeration system labels, following IIAR Bulletin No. 114, and
- NFPA 70E-compliant arc flash labels.
DuraSuite is part of an entire software package included with every desktop DuraLabel printer such as Bronco, the latest low-cost thermal transfer printer. The bundle also includes LabelForge, which allows users to create completely customized labels from scratch, using a simple interface. LabelForge gives users the power to create linear and 2D barcodes, add standardized symbols or custom images, and even import data from a spreadsheet.
