While Chicago languishes in the afterglow of its Cubs clinching the World Series title, the Windy City will also be abuzz this week when 50,000 attendees hit the Windy City for PACK EXPO International. Held November 6-9, 2016, the show is managed by the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, which represents the voice of more than 750 manufacturers of equipment, components, and materials for processing and packaging.
Graphic Products will continue its tradeshow tradition of exhibiting its line of visual communication solutions to help protect workers from workplace dangers such as arc flash, chemicals, and other hazardous materials. This year’s expo will set a new high-tech standard with the largest on-floor education program since the show began in 2012. 71 innovation sessions will be held across four stages, featuring new technology and advances from all segments of the processing and packaging market.
PACK EXPO International hosts more than 2,500 exhibitors showing their processing and packaging innovations to 50,000 attendees in over 1.2 million net square feet of exhibit space. Graphic Products is no exception, as the safety company will showcase its diverse line of DuraLabel thermal transfer printers as well as innovations with:
- Floor Marking & Wayfinding – including PathFinder floor marking tapes which provide order throughout warehouses, food processing plants, and breweries, among other industrial facilities
- Spill Control & Containment – hazmat pads, absorb pads, barriers & more
- Lockout/Tagout – valve lockouts, tags, padlocks & more
In the food processing sector, Graphic Products offers a Metal-Detectable Tape which helps make label pieces easy to locate in food manufacturing processes and various other industrial applications. The company also offers premade signage to keep workers safe in processing facilities.
